Buddhist Prayer Beads / Malas Meditation Bracelets
Learn to be mindful, compassionate, and grateful. In TIbetan Buddhism, the 108 bead Mala is believed to bring positive forces of self-realization and contentment.
Buddhist Prayer Beads are a traditional tool used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, breaths while meditating, counting prostrations, or the repetitions of a buddha's name. Mantras and chants are typically repeated hundreds and thousands of times. The Mala is used so that one can focus on the meaning or the sound of the mantra rather than counting its repetitions. One repetition is usually said for each bead.
